to enclose silence (while keeping a distance) investigates the space in which the lifeless is animated, becomes alive: a sculpture transforms from an immobile object into an entity, a relic carrying soul, action and weight. Latex cast hands dangling from the wall, a skirt hanging from the hanger, a rock-like lump strung up in the air. These elements make connections between myth and reality and invite us to watch the material and the immaterial merge.
